'A dangerous fool who fuels the flames of terrorism': MPs launch stinging attack on Donald Trump but say he should NOT be banned from Britain
Today MPs held a debate on a record 570,000-strong petition demanding the billionaire (pictured today in Virginia) is stopped from entering Britain. The US presidential hopeful caused fury after he said British police 'fear for their lives' in 'radicalised' areas and demanded a ban on Muslims entering America. Labour's Jack Dromey (top right) said: 'Donald Trump is free to be a fool but he is not free to be a dangerous fool in Britain'. But Newport West MP Paul Flynn (bottom right), who led the debate, said banning Mr Trump would only make him a martyr. Earlier the tycoon called the campaign to bar him from the UK 'an absurd waste of time' and blasted 'self-serving' MPs for failing to focus on the UK's real problems.
