She has been in the news recently as she claimed she left television series Hollywood Divas after suffering a head injury.

Elise said she was filming at a bowling alley when a light fixture broke and hit her in the head, according to an article last month by TMZ.

The Hughleys star claimed that production attempted to cover up the accident and continued filming as if nothing happened. 

The Hustle & Flow actress said producers have refused to pay for her medical bills that include costs for X-rays and MRIs.

Hollywood Divas ran for two seasons on the TV One network and also featured Paula Jai Parker, Golden Brooks, Countess Vaughn and Lisa Wu.
