'I'm finding this hard': Brave BBC presenter Victoria Derbyshire reveals her hair loss from chemotherapy as she battles cancer
The 47-year-old journalist (left), who was diagnosed with breast cancer in July, said the change began in December when a clump of hair fell out as she was getting ready for a friend's 40th. Over the past month, Ms Derbyshire has presented her BBC Two programme while wearing a wig, but has not drawn attention to it. But, in a moving video diary recorded throughout December, she removes the wig to reveal her thinning hair (middle and right), adding: 'I'm finding this hard'. She then reveals how she has struggled to come to terms with the hair loss, admitting it has affected her more than her mastectomy. But, in another clip filmed on Christmas Eve, the presenter says she has now 'got used' to wearing the wig.
