When we just can't value what we have until we loose it.
...and somebody confronted me
for speaking yoruba to my little boy of 20 months. You can guess my response.
We learned virtually everything in yoruba from... LA PRY SCHL, ....RCM SCHL, ....MUSLIM PRY SCHL, ....etc b4 d nursery n pry schls started gaining grounds and we are in no way mentally challenged.
Now our kids don't understand our motherland language under our nose but can speak queen's English all the way from Oshogbo Nigeria.
"Ile la ti n k'eso r'ode"
"Oun a ni la n gbe laruge!"
Where and how do we go from here?
The direction for change lies with us.
