Tragedy as schoolgirl, seven, killed in bouncy castle horror after it was lifted by winds and blown 150 yards across a park
The seven-year-old girl who died after a bouncy castle was blown 150m across a park in Essex by strong winds during an Easter fair has been named as Summer Grant (left). Emergency services were called at 4.15pm and two ambulances and an air ambulance arrived at the park, treating the girl on the ground before she was rushed to hospital. She is confirmed to have later died from the extent of her injuries. Essex Police confirmed a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, both from Cambridgeshire, have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence and remain in police custody. The scene (top and bottom right) remains cordoned off as officers continue their inquiries.
