Taking road rage to a whole new level: Traffic is brought to a standstill after man is 'knocked out' in alcohol-fuelled fist-fight in middle of a busy MOTORWAY

Video footage shared on Twitter showed a man (pictured, right) being led from the central reservation of the M56 motorway, near the Wythenshawe junction, towards a police car. One driver reported that a man had been 'knocked out' in the central reservation while others said there had been a fight on the road. The incident caused queuing traffic on the surrounding roads, causing some Manchester United and Manchester City fans to turn to social media to voice their concern about being late for the game.
