Frock horror! Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman and Brie Larson suffer rare fashion fails as they lead the list of worst dressed stars at the SAG Awards

• Julianne, 55, wore an over-the-top green sparkly number, which featured a very unflattering neckline
• Room star Brie, 26, donned a blue Versace number with an industrial-looking orange strap on the back; she revealed on the red carpet that she picked the dress out just a few hours before the ceremony
• 48-year-old Nicole's sparkly Gucci frock was designed in an array of clashing pinks and purples
• The award for worst dressed, however, goes to Lori Petty and her garish pink crop top and trouser ensemble
• January Jones, Priyanka Chopra and Gwendoline Christie are also among the celebrities who missed the fashion mark at the star-studded award ceremony

Some of Hollywood's most stylish leading ladies were behind some of the most surprising fashion flops at this year's SAG Awards, with Julianne Moore, Brie Larson and Nicole Kidman all missing the mark with their less-than-impressive red carpet choices. 

Julianne, 55, stepped out at the award ceremony wearing an incredibly unflattering green sequin number, which featured an awkward bandeau-style top half, and was finished with a rather shapeless floor-length skirt, which did little to showcase the actress' enviable physique. The garish shade of green also did little to flatter Julianne's flawless complexion, although it did highlight her auburn locks nicely. 

Similarly, 48-year-old Nicole's sequin-covered pink and purple Gucci frock did nothing as far as the color was concerned, and, when combined with the over-the-top girly ruffles, left the star looking as though she was trying far too hard - when really, she doesn't usually have to try at all in order to keep her crown as one of the industry's most fashionable.
