Viola Beach police 'ignored' emergency calls after band fell from Swedish bridge
MailOnline can today reveal the fullest account so far of the horrific incident that killed Kris Leonard, 20, River Reeves, 19, Jack Dakin, 19, Tom Lowe, 27, and the band's manager Craig Tarry, 33, when their car plunged 82ft from a bridge in Sodertalje, just south of Stockholm in the early hours of February 13. Swedish police 'ignored' two emergency calls causing a 24-minute delay in reaching the victims, MailOnline can reveal. On both occasions, police told the callers there was 'nothing to worry about', after contacting the bridge operator who had failed to see the debris on the road. In addition, key witness Kent Uddén, 49, (pictured top left with the grey Saab he was driving on the night of the accident) told MailOnline that the police's explanation for the tragedy is wrong.
