Sarah Correll, 36, from Liverpool, splashed out £10,000 on New Year's Eve celebrations in Monaco, including a chauffeur-driven Mercedes for her two friends and her dogs, Botox top ups and £2,000 on designer shoes. She and her husband rang in 2016 at a £350-a-head restaurant loved by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and splashed out £600 on a hotel suite so their chihuahuas Coco and Louis could stay with them.
