A group of young men firebombed a restaurant in Cairo, setting off a blaze that killed 16 people and wounded three, authorities said.
Interior Ministry spokesman Abu Bakr Abdel-Karim said police were looking for six people over the attack, which happened shortly after two people were banned from entering the business in the Agouza district.
Mr Abdel-Karim said the two men 'went and drank alcohol somewhere else, brought four others with them and came on three motorcycles at around 6am'.
'They then threw a Molotov cocktail at the entrance of the place,' the spokesman added. 'This caused the fire and the smoke and the 16 deaths.'
