Father Stops His Daughter's Wedding
to Have Stepdad Walk Bride Down the Aisle With Him














The traditional wedding ceremony for a bride involves the biological father walking his daughter down the aisle to pass her off to the soon-to-be hubby. Obviously that isn't always possible depending on the circumstances. But what happens when the daughter technically has a biological father and a stepfather?

Most of the time the dad who brought her into the world assumes the responsibility. Then again, there's Todd Bachman, who went out of his way to stop the wedding procession and bring his daughter's stepdad to the altar with him, causing almost every person in the crowd to break down into a puddle of mushy tears.

Can you blame them? Just look at the way the stepfather reacts when he's pulled away from his seat to meet his stepdaughter up in front. The bride's biological dad also has this wonderful look of determination on his face that make the photos even more moving. 

The two dads hug it out after proudly walking their daughter down the aisle. Sure enough, these touching pictures got many emotional responses online.

One user said, "This is how people should behave after a divorce/split... Not thinking of themselves but their children​." Another one simply commented, "I'll just be over here, sobbing." (We may or may not be doing the same thing.)
