New mother was stabbed in the chest by yobs after she confronted them over waking her eight-week-old daughter
Donna Cross, 33, was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after losing two-and-a-half pints of blood in the stabbing attack which took place outside her home in Chatham, Kent (pictured). She was stabbed after telling a group of teenagers to 'shut up' because they were waking up her eight-week-old baby Jordannah-Skye (pictured inset with Miss Cross and father Jon Stone). Police arrested a 19-year-old man but later released him without charge, although the investigation continues.
