Just Do It! CCTV footage captures Wayne Rooney appearing to help himself to Nike merchandise inside stadium hospitality box

CCTV footage allegedly shows footballing ace Wayne Rooney (inset) helping himself to Nike merchandise while inside a VIP box at Wembley in north west London. The security film, which is from May 2014 and was obtained by The Mirror, shows the Manchester United star - who earns £300,000-a-week - sifting his way through a display cabinet while occupying the brand's hospitality box. The 30-year-old sportsman can be seen laughing as he repeatedly turns to his three pals while apparently rummaging through the goods (right) - even taking out a trainer he had jokingly stowed beneath his waistband at one point (left). The footballer took to Facebook to publish a short statement, in which he strenuously denied the claims on Sunday night.
