The couple showed their love for the ocean in other locations in Busseton, including a beach near the Aqua Resort where they were wed in March last year
Ms Herbert told Perth Now: ‘I think a lot of people get too sentimental when it comes to their wedding dress.’
‘If I paid $20,000 for (the dress) then I probably wouldn’t have gone in the water with it but as it turned out, the dress was completely fine after we took it to the dry cleaners anyway.
‘It’s something unique which we will cherish and look back on,’ she added.
The couple were asked to do practice shots on paddle boards because of the risk involved in the underwater shoot

The Photography Boutique's Jo Hitchcock told the Daily Mail Australia: ‘We haven’t seen many shoots like this.’
The incredible memento was taken at Busselton Jetty, which had pylons close to the couple and strict safety precautions were taken.
Ms Hitchcock said: ‘Both Carli and Shae have spent a lot of time in the ocean, they are both pretty strong swimmers.’

Other photos taken for the Herbert wedding, which happened in March last year, were taken in surrounding areas of the Busselton region.
Ms Hitchcock said: ‘It’s a beautiful area and a lot of the pictures were taken in different places near and around the jetty.’
