Worried parents have spoken of their shock after a primary school pupil contracted swine flu.
The youngster contracted the H1N1 virus which is the prevalent form of the disease in Britain this year.
The virus swept Britain in 2009 causing a number of deaths across the country, although research published in the British Medical Journal said it was no more deadly than other forms of the disease.

However, public health officials have stressed that the illness is an ordinary strain of the disease which is not dangerous to people without underlying health complaints.
