Tony Blair and Bill Clinton calls reveal exchanges following Diana death
Former British prime minister Tony Blair (bottom left) and US president Bill Clinton (top left, today) also shared worries about the future of Princes William and Harry in the hours after the death of Princess Diana (right) in Paris almost 20 years ago. A transcript of the call, made on September 1 in 1997, was released today in a declassified document at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas. In the conversation, Mr Blair shares his disbelief at events and reflects on the dangers of the road tunnel in which Diana and Dodi Fayed died.
