But Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has seen the funny side to the situation, sharing a humorous photo on Instagram on Wednesday referencing the fact she's been in talks with her lawyer following the distressing social media incident.
The 32-year-old singer reassured her loyal fans she wasn't fazed by the situation by posting a picture of a smug-looking Barack Obama on the phone.
