Ivory Coast have beaten Liberia 1-0 in Monrovia in the first-leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Gohi Bi Zoro Cyriac scored the only goal of the match just before half-time.
The two sides meet again in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, next Tuesday.
In the last two matches of the day Mauritania are leading Tunisia 1-0 away from home and Swaziland and Nigeria are drawing 0-0.
