As the Bajan beauty posed for photos backstage she showed off lots of leg as well as the totally unexpected flat long shoes.
The Umbrella crooner had opted for some red Converse-like trainers with pointed toes.
It was a clash of glamorous evening wear and sporty casual but if anyone could make it work, it's Rihanna.
She teamed her floaty frock with a dainty gold chain and sported a deep berry lipstick for dramatic effect.
The singer's raven locks were parted immaculately for her red carpet look.
