'I started feeling sick': Britney Spears apologises to fans after she fails to pick up her People's Choice Award
Britney Spears was a surprise no-show at Wednesday night's People's Choice Awards after she fell ill shortly before she was due to attend.
The singer, 34, was expected to join a host of big names at the annual ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
However, after becoming sick earlier that day, she ended up staying home and was unable to collect the award for Favourite Social Media Celebrity.
