Monsignor Albert dead
MONSIGNOR Richard Albert yesterday evening took his last breath in Jamaica, the country he adopted as his home in 1976, fulfilling a desire he made known to his close friend Daryl Vaz many years ago.
"It was always his wish and his instruction to me that he was going to stay here, and this would be the place he would live until his last breath," Vaz, an Opposition parliamentarian and former Cabinet minister, told the Jamaica Observer yesterday.
