Damien Hirst has described his Christmas tree as a "celebration of togetherness".
But the artist is no stranger to controversy and his latest installation, outside an exclusive London hotel, is no exception.
The 30-ft tree, decorated with scissors, syringes and medicine bottles as opposed to baubles and tinsel, has caused consternation amongst the well-heeled residents of Mayfair.
