Report: Doctors fear Odom suffered serious brain damage
© Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images Doctors reportedly fear that Lamar Odom suffered serious brain damage from a drug overdose and has made little progress in the pass few weeks. Lamar Odom isn’t doing too well, according to a new report which states he has had difficulty recognizing friends and family.
Odom has made little progress over the past few weeks, according to a report posted early Saturday by TMZ. A source tells them that he’s only able to speak a word occasionally and has been unable to recognize longtime friends and family when they come to visit. Doctors reportedly believe the former NBA star suffered significant brain damage.
Odom’s motor skills had already been questioned, but all the initial joy over the fact that he survived his overdose has given way to the reality that Odom has a very long road ahead of him.
